Shopping questions

I’m going to be coming into some birthday money soon . . .

::cackles, but with glee, gleefully cackles::

and I’m considering various gadgets and gizmos, because I love me some gizmos. What I would like to know from you is, do you have a TiVo or other DVR type gizmo? AND, OR, do you have a coffee maker that also grinds the coffee? If you have one of these things, do you love it? Do you like it? Do you recommend it?

I’m wondering if we really watch enough TV on a regular basis to justify owning a DVR. Is TiVo one of those things that now you have it, you don’t know how you lived without one?

If that’s not a fab idea, maybe I’ll choose the coffee grinder/brewer, I’ve read such mixed reviews at Amazon that my poor weak head is spinning. I love good coffee, and NEED coffee-any-coffee every day. Lots of it. I would give up beer before I would go without coffee. And it seems like it might be an awesome addition to the kitchen, but not if it breaks in four weeks, or if cleaning it is a task akin to washing out the Augean Stables.

Ack, Threadless! Stop tempting me

With your tempting ways, you tempter and/or temptress!

I have too many of your shirts already!

Like almost everyone, this is not a good economic time for me to splurging on t-shirts, no matter how awesome they are!

But I think I need this one:

And my son is playing in the orchestra for his high school’s spring production of West Side Story, so he has to have this one, right?

And my nine-year old son will then feel left out. Plus, he would lurve this one:

But you don’t even have it in kids’ sizes, plus I’m sure he would not be allowed to wear it to school.

So, I’ll just put my wallet down . . . and turn away from you.

right?
